Is there inconsistency in the string of alphabets above? You probably spotted the discrepancy before you even read the question.

What about this one above? How well are you able to discern the differences?
Working in tandem with any and all your perceptions is your ability to analyze. (Perceptions will be elaborated in later chapters) Notice changes in your surroundings, identify minute changes of these examples below :
- Shapes
- Musical Notes
- Facial Expressions
- Movements
- Spatial
- Direction
- Scent
- Taste
The more details you are capable of perceiving, the longer this list would be.
Once your conscious mind receives signals from your perceptions, your analytical intelligence determines how well all those information are processed and translated.
Your limitation in either analytical intelligence or perceptions can highly throttle your overall performance. For example, a blind person can’t differentiate any visual discrepancy no matter how analytical they are.
Memory :
When is your birthday?
I’m assuming that’s not too difficult to recall.
What food did you consume three years ago today? If you can answer this, I tip my hat off to you. (I’m under the assumptions that no two year olds are reading my blogs.)
When you hear a loud bang, what’s your initial reaction and thought? Do you drop to the floor immediately with heightened senses? Or do you look around in anticipation to see gorgeous fireworks in the sky?
Our mind stores memories in a number of fashions. Through our perceptions, emotions and repetitions, we voluntarily or involuntarily recall the past.
The greater your memory, the more information you may immediately recall, which provides a larger pool of premises to derive conclusion from using your logical intelligence.
Memory however, can also lead to trauma; fear of certain experiences, and addictions, such as drug abuse and alcoholism.
In some cases, you may even block or neglect certain memories automatically on purpose to avoid pain. Our mind’s intricacies are absolutely fascinating.
The discerning heart seeks knowledge,
– Proverbs 15:14
but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
Conclusion for Intelligence :
Do not be discouraged if exceptional human intelligence is not your gift. The purpose of this series is to recognize where we stand as human beings. There will always be inequality in abilities of all kinds among people, but rather direct your attention to acknowledging our follies. We humans are phenomenal creatures, created in God’s image no less, yet there are still an abundance of mysteries that are incomprehensible to even the best of us. Accepting our inadequacies is the first step towards humility.
